Wolf with Benefits is the eighth book in the Pride series. Toni Jean-Louis Parker has her hands full helping care for her nine siblings. Ricky Lee Reed works for a security company alongside his brothers. The two meet and Ricky finds the jackal Toni not only sexy, but very entertaining. When the wolf Ricky is assigned to protect Toni sparks fly, but is it enough for something more?

There are so many wonderful characters in this book. Ricky Lee is quite charming. He is cool and confident, and he takes life as it comes. His laid back attitude seems to be the polar opposite of Toni. Toni is devoted to her siblings, all nine of them! All of her brothers and sisters are child prodigies and demand her time. She seems on top of keeping their schedules and keeping them from killing each other, but underneath it all she is a little bit neurotic. I liked these two paired together because Ricky Lee is so supportive of Toni, and he is there for her when life is too overwhelming. I loved the humorous banter between the two, and thought they were a match made in heaven! Another character I can’t wait to see again is Toni’s best friend Livy Kowalski. Granted she is a mean one, but she is hilarious! I’m really hoping she gets her own book!

I have been a huge fan of Laurenston ever since I read her Magnus Pack books. Not only do her books have well developed characters and fantastic plots, her stories are full of humor. Wolf with Benefits is no different. I found myself laughing out loud more than once! There is plenty of action to provide a fast-paced read, and enough sexual chemistry to make readers drool! The story was so engrossing I forgot the world around me and read it in one sitting. I missed a couple of books in the series, so I felt a little lost with some of the characters. For this reason I have to recommend reading the series in order.

This series will appeal to a wide variety of readers. Fans of paranormal, shifters, romance, or humor will absolutely love Laurenston’s Pride series.
