I finished it on the day of release!
Loved it even though I could have strangled the boys once or twice

What was good was that a lot of brothers where in this book but also the Band of Bastards (and I have to say I like Xcor more and more with each book). Not too sure about Assail, I'll have to wait and see ^_^

I'm hoping Trez gets a book too. She definitely left it open for several more books.

Ward anounced yesterday that the next book will be going back to Wrath and Beth! I have to say I soo didn't see that coming! I was pretty sure it was going to be Assail.

But I agree with you Lust, Trez deserves a book and it looks like it will happen. Can't wait to see what happens to those shadows ^_^

There were a couple of things in the book I wanted to be different. I think I would like Assail's book. He reminds me a bit of The Reverend! I didn't really care about. Rehv. One way or the other until his book, now he one of my favorites.

I totally agree with you about Rehv! I didn't really like him before his book and now I can't get enough of him. That's why I'm so on the fence about Assail. I really don't care about him at all but I know that when he gets his book, it'll be worth it (hopefully ^^)

I'm at 40% now and I'm getting just a little bit frustrated with the book going all over the place constantly... I wan to read about blay and qhuinn and their story... I don't mind another story building for the next book, but this is getting a bit much imo....
Just my thoughts so far...

I really liked the book. There are things that did piss me off a bit that I wished had gone differently. I think the Warden held back a bit.

Loved the book and can't wait for the next one, but I do agree that there are a few too many cut always in this one, perhaps even ditching the iam and trez stuff would have helped, but I'm not complaining - loved it!! Gutted as usual that there is no more until march
