Went to see the Big Miracle this weekend and it was really good. Very well done, not cheesy at all. Highly recommend. My husband smiled throughout the whole movie and so did I. A few swear words like hell and bastard could have been left out but otherwise ok for family.

Just got back from Dark Shadows. I enjoyed it. The trailer is misleading though. The movie is not a comedy. It's a drama. Some parts were silly but overall it was enjoyable.

I saw Dark shadows too and I'm sad to say i didn't like it! I'ma huge fan of Burton but I was really bored for most of the movie. And yes, the trailer is misleading : all the funny parts are in it

Oh man, that sucks. I was looking forward to seeing Dark Shadows. My daughter and I were going to see it Saturday night but went to see The Avengers with hubs and my son instead. It was awesome!

Hubby and I are going to see the avengers next week when he's finally back in town. I really wnat to see Dark Shadows, but I'm seeing not such great reviews about it....Guess I will have to wait and see : )

I'm taking my kids to Dark Shadows. My daughter has this thing with Johnny Depp and she wouldn't have it any other way.

Okay, I went to see Dark Shadows with my daughter tonight. I went in not expecting much comedy, but more of a drama. I actually really like it up until the ending. The ending sucked. In fact, the last 30 minutes of the movie sucked to be honest. It was like someone else took over the making of the movie at that point.
If you're a Johnny Depp fan you'll probably like it, but won't love it. Pirates of the Caribbean has ruined any other role for me. The fourth pirates wasnt that good though, not as good as the rest of them in my opinion. We had advanced screening tickets to it and saw it like a month before release but we didnt come out going 'okay wow!' like we did for number 3.

Went and saw Dark Shadows, I agree with VKD that the last half hour was a little lame, but the movie was good over all! And went to see the Avengers, LOVED it lol
