Lol, I must have missed it. What is the name of this book? I still can't wrap my head around the whole tree bit....that's well.....definitely a first. The weirdest thing that I read and just couldn't force myself to finish was a sex scene that lasted for thirty pages, all foreplay, where the characters were really spiritual and every little action had to go into great detail about religion, karma, auras and they got each other off by sending their spiritual vibe into each other. It was pretty disturbing and I can't remember for the life of me the name of the book but if I ever see the book I plan on running the other way.

oh i hate those kinds of scenes, RL. 30 pages huh. I'd have skipped to the end, or more likely, tossed the book.

After that I skimmed only to find myself rolling my eyes every few minutes. I ended up tossing the book into the trash.

ok got another. Queenie says I have a real talent for finding weird books. I'm reading a historical erotica set in 1899 Shanghai. The basic plot is that a young Englishwoman believes she can cure her autistic brother by learning Chinese sexual techniques from the Chinaman that works for her family. yeah.....that should work.

That was my question and then I asked myself "Do I really want to know?"

The book is vague on how it will help. She will have a more focused qu (which i guess is personal power) Note the sarcasm in my original comment about this "cure"

I am happy to say that I have not and never will read the following title. But it came up on another forum and I thought it was a weird one. The Seahorse that Loved the Wrong Lynx. It's an m/m erotic story about a gay wereseahorse falling for a gay werelynx and becoming impregnated. Apparently there are 9 books in the Mate or Meal series

I've had too many drinks tonight to even begin pondering that one!
