I've liked each of the books in this series. Ashes to Ashes builds on the stories in the first two. I love how the characters are so torn at times over what they feel and what they should do, makes them very realistic in their approach to things. I am ready, however, for Carrie and Nathan to get together for good. I like them together. They just fit. But their timing does seem to be off.
