Does anyone feel that this book is taking a lot longer to get through? I mean with V, I couldn't put it down. I have been reading very slowly on this one.

now i know my next novel of choice, i been getting confused bout which ones were comin out soon, thank you webmistress!

Yeah, it's a bit of a slower read, perhaps because there's just so much going on in the book--I tended to get a little side-tracked at times. The other books were better - especially V's story, but I did enjoy this one.

I don't know that I would agree with the sentiment that this book was not as good as the others. I really enjoyed this book, maybe more than I thought I would. I knew it would adress Phury's addiction, so I wasn't looking forward to the heavy stuff. But I have to say, this is the first of the series that made me cry...real tears, people.

It was by far the most moving of any of them. Maybe I agree that it's not the most fun to read (who doesn't LOVE the bathroom with Vishous?!?? or the needing phase of Bella & 16 hours of yummy Z?!?!?)

WARDen certainly researched this one well with the addiction halucinations. I love how Cormia took over and helped him cut away the vines. *teary*

I loved the book. I forced myself to read slowly so I can draw it out. I ruin books when I read them in a few hours. Although V is my favorite character, I thought this book was a bit better in that some of the side stories matured more and brought us into the mind of the Omega and also addiction. Just an incredible series. Cant wait for the next one!

I FINALLY got my copy. My Borders was out of it forever! I'm just about halfway.
Blackvelvet, I agree with you that I think it's slower because of all that's going on.
Can't wait to finish.

I believe she's writing about Rhevenge next. I check out her site all the time. There is a board over there like this one...and sometime the Brothers themselves make an appearance. Oh, that's awesome. WARDen even put up some dialog about Phury's mating ceremony...and you'll never guess who showed up to carve a letter into his back....

Did you get a little teary eyed when he came to carve the letter?
I love that forum, but it gets too busy and it's hard to keep up unless you go every single day.

ome, yes, I did get a little teary. I check it out about once a week. My head hurts from all the posts--it's insane and too hard to follow, like you said. I often find myself looking for the avi's of the Brothers, and just scrolling to them.
I also found out that there will be another book in the series, called the Compendium (sp?) and I am really excited about it.

Going back to the surprise guest, I was surprised that the scene on the board was not part of Phury's book, but rather an extra scene just for the board! How cool is that?! I hope there aren't too many other things like that---I'd hate to miss them.

I loved Phury. I have dealt with addicts first hand and felt that she did an amazing job with the trials an addict faces and their loved ones. I love that she has given us more insite. What did you guys think about the return of such a loved one? (I don't want to ruin it if someone is not to that part.)

Do you mean which will be the reading choice for July? If that's what you mean, then our wonderful webmistress will put up a post (probalby in the next couple days) telling what the choice is and then we can start discussing it. You can tell by the votes that it will be Lover Enshrined for July.
