Also this guy.... Valentino Lanus. He does telenovelas in Mexico. I always find myself watching the telenovels with my mom and abuela. He is one goodlooking man....

VKD, In regards to being on the water with Gerard, have you seen the movie Nim's island? It's a cute family movie. Gerard has two roles, one at sea (I kept wishing the storm would blow his clothes off, but then it wouldn't be a family movie); and one as an Indiana Jones type adventurer hottie. :)

Steffan: I never believed in anything like this before.
Eilian: So you're saying you regularly dry hump the air in the corner of your house and bring yourself to an orgasm in your pants?
Steffan: Good point.
Eilian: Never, ever do that in front of me again.

SQUEE!! I love that picture of Keifer Sutherland from The Lost Boys! That's my first vamp movie, my first taste of that hot man, and I lvoe the music from that movie. Is it b/c I'm stuck in the 80s slightly???
*fans self*
Whew! he looks perfect! But I have to admit, I don't think of him as Carpathian, rather a vampire. Maybe James or Aro from Meyer's series.

But this thread is about Feehan's books. I'm reading one right now, called Dark Celebration. Should this not have been my first book to read in the series?? it's a little confusing. There is alot of talk about Gabriel being dressed up like Santa Claus and Mikhail visiting everyone. And there are some great scenes between Skylar and Dimitri so far (she's just gotten saved from the vampire/wolf attack). What is the first book??

I would watch anything where Gerard's clothes fell off. Too bad we can't use the Carpathian skill of just thinking about it, and they just fall away. that's a beautiful man. My favorite role of his is the Phantom of the Opera.

The first book is Dark Prince and there are about 16 books in the series. You can check out her web page though, they are listed in the order they should be read in

I agree he doesn't fit the Carpathian profile. If you read my post, i threw out that picture before I ever read any of the series, just because he does make a great vamp. I've read several of the books since then, and plan to read them all.
Phantom is my favorite Gerard movie too.

diane, you owe us a report on that 'audition'

I personally don't think of Brendan as a Carpathian, but those pictures were fun and hot.
Same for Gerard. He's hot but maybe not Carpathian.
did anybody else like Valentino?

Oh to have such a skill. It's probably a good thing I don't because i would shamelessly and excessively use it. + =

That's Steve Bacic (our Rafael De La Cruz) in the 2008 Acura commercial. He's sitting in a home office at his computer looking at his bluetooth and decides to go for a ride. anybody want to go with him? http://content8.flixster.com/photo/52/66/83/5266830_tml.jpg

Maybe you weren't checking because it wasn't a set that Brendan was running around. It was your boudoir!
I can hear you singing "George, George, George of the Jungle, big as he can be . . . ."
Hmm, I think you may have changed a few words from the original

And what about your innocence, VKD? Last I heard you were body surfing with, no, on Gerard Butler. You surfed all the way to Nim's Island where you promply fed Jody Foster to a large walrus. As exhausted as the poor man was, I doubt she could have given you much competition. 8)

Oh but Lightheaded, you must note that I never once proclaimed innocence. I'd be struck down by lightening before I even finished the sentence. LOL

And by the way, Gerard was oh so surf-worthy! 8)

Ok how about this one ladies, go to youtube, I love that sight btw, and see the video Best I Ever Had by State of Shock, I think we have a new candidate for a carpathian. Hes not hot, hot but he has a brooding quality that i love

If you go to their website and look at their photos (promo album) there is a great pic of the band.

The third picture in the promo album really shows his eyes. The guy on the right side of the pic isn't bad either!

I agree that the 3rd picture of him was the most flattering, not bad at all. But he's not buff enough for my taste.
Are we looking to expand our casting beyond actors that could actually be in a movie/series? That opens up many vistas - models, musicians, athletes, guys on the street, hotties from the past ....

Oh you've been here long enough to know we don't discriminate. If he's hot and fangable, then he (or she) qualifies! The arena is open for all players.
