VKD, In regards to being on the water with Gerard, have you seen the movie Nim's island? It's a cute family movie. Gerard has two roles, one at sea (I kept wishing the storm would blow his clothes off, but then it wouldn't be a family movie); and one as an Indiana Jones type adventurer hottie.

SQUEE!! I love that picture of Keifer Sutherland from The Lost Boys! That's my first vamp movie, my first taste of that hot man, and I lvoe the music from that movie. Is it b/c I'm stuck in the 80s slightly???

But this thread is about Feehan's books. I'm reading one right now, called Dark Celebration. Should this not have been my first book to read in the series?? it's a little confusing. There is alot of talk about Gabriel being dressed up like Santa Claus and Mikhail visiting everyone. And there are some great scenes between Skylar and Dimitri so far (she's just gotten saved from the vampire/wolf attack). What is the first book??

I would watch anything where Gerard's clothes fell off. Too bad we can't use the Carpathian skill of just thinking about it, and they just fall away. that's a beautiful man. My favorite role of his is the Phantom of the Opera.

The first book is Dark Prince and there are about 16 books in the series. You can check out her web page though, they are listed in the order they should be read in

I agree he doesn't fit the Carpathian profile. If you read my post, i threw out that picture before I ever read any of the series, just because he does make a great vamp. I've read several of the books since then, and plan to read them all.
Phantom is my favorite Gerard movie too.

I personally don't think of Brendan as a Carpathian, but those pictures were fun and hot.

Ok how about this one ladies, go to youtube, I love that sight btw, and see the video Best I Ever Had by State of Shock, I think we have a new candidate for a carpathian. Hes not hot, hot but he has a brooding quality that i love

I agree that the 3rd picture of him was the most flattering, not bad at all. But he's not buff enough for my taste.
Are we looking to expand our casting beyond actors that could actually be in a movie/series? That opens up many vistas - models, musicians, athletes, guys on the street, hotties from the past ....

I think we can include them all. Why limit our choices!
