We all create certain mental pictures of the men we read, often picturing favorite celebrities or other hunks in the roles of our book men. Sometimes I go by the description, and sometimes by personality. Sad to say, in the current book I'm reading, the guys personality can only be one man.....*gasp and shudder*..... John Wayne. It's driving me nuts because horror of horrors....he's a highlander! Just shoot me now. The mental image is making me crazy and nauseous. But I swear this guy's personality is soooo totally and completely John Wayne. A big lug of a guy. I'm not finding this sexy. Has anyone else ever pictured someone that was just wrong? _______________ Exasperated dragon on the field of battle:

ohh dear god I don't think I could finish a book if I was picturing the duke as the leading sexy man, you poor poooor thing! _______________ I used to be very patient with others until I realized I was just allowing those people to be dumb longer.- Inspired by fun times with QPV and LFP. |

Ewww The Duke in sex scenes! LMAO! The mental image just scared me for life. Actually, when I first read about Alcide in the Sookie books, I just pictured some big hairy dude-did nothing for me.
