Thank you Purple Vampiress for telling me about this series. I've read the prequel and book 1 and couldn't put them down. There were stop the day and do nothing but read books.

The Abandoned - opens in a nursing home. If you've seen The Skeleton Key movie, it feels like that. I totally pictured Kate Hudson has the protagonist of this one. It serves as the perfect introductory setting to the series.

The Restorer - book 1. This contemporary southern gothic is set in Charleston. Amelia is called the Graveyard Queen because she restores historic cemeteries....and she sees ghosts everywhere she goes. This story has it all - mystery, secret societies, murder, coverups, hauntings, and romance.

The Graveyard Queen series is not over. The author has signed for three more in the series. This is really good news. Although I didn't like book 3, the first two were fabulous and there is definitely more story to be told.
The series is UF with strong romance elements.
