since True Blood is out for me from now on, I decided to take a look at potential new studs...I mean shows Arrow - wednesdays on cw. wow, LH--you and I are on the same wave length here. I was coming to post a new show that is starting to film this fall. Dracula, starring Jonathan Rhys Meyers http://tvline.com/2012/07/24/dracula-nbc-jonathan-rhys-meyers/I read some of the comments because I'm a glutton for punishment. But I have to agree with some of them...there is a lot of vampire stuff out there now, and it seems to be overkill. I will always love my vampire books, but I'm getting a little weary of the TV/movies/hype/commercials about, with, starring and portraying vampires. Are y'all feeling this, too, or is it just me? |

It depends QPV. Dracula could but probably won't be done tastefully and they could stick closely to the original premise. If they go over the top with demon possession and really weird stuff - then ugghh. TV tends to run in trends. There will be 400 cop shows or doctor shows all out at one time. Some will be worth watching and most won't. It just depends on how well they can do it. Thanks for the post LH. I think my fave on the list is Arrow. To answer your question Phantom, I don't mind if they are well done and the same goes for books as well, but I hate that they crank out movies, shows, books, etc. that are low quality and for no other reason than that is what's popular right now. _______________ When I want you to beg, IŽll tell youŽ -Vishous

Arrow, and perception seem good i think ill give them a try... I looove JRM so ill have to watch his new show but I really hope it isnt horrible. _______________ I used to be very patient with others until I realized I was just allowing those people to be dumb longer.- Inspired by fun times with QPV and LFP. |
