#1 Moon Called by Patricia Briggs. Loved this book. Mercy is my kind of heroine. Can't wait to read more in this series.
#2 Sudden Response by RL Mathewson. Hey its RL, 'nuff said Eager to read more of this series too.#3 Shana Abe's Drakon series. This is historical paranormal with a fairytale vibe. I gave book one 3 stars, book 2 got 5 stars, and book 3 got 4 stars. #4 Wings of Dawn by Sigmond Brouwer. This one is actually historical fiction with fantasy, action, and romance elements. It's really, really good. #5 The Royal Treatment by MaryJanice Davidson. I find MJD to be inconsistent, but when she's good, she's funny. Best story about a wedding I've read and I think that is a difficult subject to keep interesting _______________ Exasperated dragon on the field of battle: "Mother said there would be knights like this." ![]() |

Oh man, this is tough. I've read so many great books so far this year. Lets see if I can narrow it down a little..
Rogue's Pawn by Jeffe Kennedy Once Burned by Jeaniene Frost Sudden Response by RL Mathewson New Species series by Laurann Dohner (thanks Nixy) Ugh, I can't choose a 5th. Too many good ones. _______________ Favorite Quote at the Moment:Veil of Seduction Steffan: I never believed in anything like this before. Eilian: So you're saying you regularly dry hump the air in the corner of your house and bring yourself to an orgasm in your pants? Steffan: Good point. VKD, you are so lucky to have such great books that its hard to choose. It was very easy for me to choose since most of the books I've read this year have been blah. The good ones really stood out.
