I just got done reading #3 Dark Gold. I'm assuming that this book takes place 18 years after Dark Desire. I was confused by Gregori saying that it did not go over well with Mikhail & Raven's daughter when it came time for him to "claim" her, so he was waiting 5 years for her to live for herself a little longer. My question is, which book is Gregori? Do they go into more detail about this in his book? _______________ Favorite Quote at the Moment:Veil of Seduction Steffan: I never believed in anything like this before. I tried to get my hubby to read Dark Prince lol. He only made it halfway through before the gagging made him stop reading. I told him if he could talk to me that way I'd die happy, for some unknown reason he refuses lmao

Best thing to do is just hit Christine's site. She has all the books, exerpts, and what is coming up. LOL Diane - I hear you. I like to read the steamy parts to my husband! He is a super alpha male and the eye rolling he does on the banter between the characters is really funny. _______________ Reading: The Anita Blake series. I loved Dark Melody, Dark Desire, and Dark Challenge. The women in those books really gave their men a run for there money. It made me laugh when the men just didn't quite know how to handle them.....

That's the "reunion" book isn't it? I can't wait to read that one. I just started Dark Fire so I have a few to go before Celebration. _______________ Favorite Quote at the Moment:Veil of Seduction Steffan: I never believed in anything like this before. I'm reading Dark Gold and not liking it nearly as much as the first two. The action scenes are good but the interaction between Aiden and his lifemate is boring me. Yeah that was one of my least favorites. It just didn't grab me like some of the other stories. So far I have liked the Dark Series and I'm currently reading Dark Gold (almost finished). I don’t really understand the whole scenario with Gregori letting his lifemate grow up. Why wouldn’t Raven and Mikhail prepare their daughter better? I guess to add to the suspense for us huh? I like the relationship between Aidan and Alexandria. I think she played a little too hard to get; but I loved the way she tried to make him jealous with the prospective boss and the retaliation pranks Aidan played on him. I was laughing out loud at some of Aidan’s antics. When Alexandria finally quit running it was hot…..remember the bubble bath? WOW....What is the deal with bathroom scenes in all these books?

I agree Tamara. The 'date' was funny. That's when the book finally started to pick up for me. Like many books it just lost steam in the middle. And the bubble bath scene was VERY SEXY!!! I sure would like to have that kind of action in my bathroom. _______________ Exasperated dragon on the field of battle: "Mother said there would be knights like this."

I picked up "Dark Secret" (Raphael/Colby) in a Used Book Store the other day. I had decided to read this series..so figured I might as well start with that one. I enjoyed it.. although it's a bit heavier on the "battles" than I like. I think that's why I've put off reading these for some long. I'll look for others.. but does anyone have any that they know are "more romance, less fighting" ??

Yeah that book was heavy on the fighting scenes, most of the stories about the de la cruz brothers are, I'm not sure why though. A word of warning though, most of the books have some fight scenes in them to add to the suspense.

Diane, I have read a lot of the books, but after a while I have to switch it up and read something else. I love the Carpathians, lifemate and the whole romance/chemistry they have going on...but the battles and the going into the other one's body to heal them searching each vein....not so much. I'm like What?
