Vampire romance author Colleen Gleason is participating in a fund-raising event for the Cystic Fybrosis Foundation. She has a beautiful blog post at her site about her son, who has the disease, and is also having a special give-away in conjunction with her fund-raising efforts.

Head on over to Colleen’s blog and check out the post, and, if you feel like making a donation to the fight against this terminal disease, go here.

Due to the increasingly hectic nature of my schedule these days, I am putting out a call for help seeking a few volunteers to assist with VampireRomanceBooks.com

I need people I can count on to assist in several aspects of the site, including adding new authors to the Authors & Titles section, as well as leading reading group discussions. If anyone of VRB.com’ faithful visitors is interested in lending a hand, and can truly commit to a task, then please use the form on the Contact page and let me know what you’d like to help with.

Mind you, I don’t expect anyone to make a full-time commitment to assisting, but if you can be relied upon to make a regular effort in any aspect of the site, I definitely want to hear from you!

Oh, and just so that you know, this is a volunteer only position; there is no pay involved.

Oh, and just in case you’re wondering or haven’t read them, Ms. Sands’ Argeneau books are fun, engaging reads, and even though there are nine of them, each can pretty much stand on it’s own, so if you haven’t read the first eight, there should be no worries. Just jump right into the series with Vampire, Interrupted.
