VampireRomanceBooks.com is working hard to develop a robust online community for vampire romance book lovers. As part of that effort, we’re providing authors, publishers, booksellers — and others desiring to reach our target audience of passionate romance readers with an affinity for fangs and the paranormal — advertising opportunities to promote their books, wares and services.

We currently have six (6) advertising positions, all on the home page of the site, and three (3) different size banners — 350 pixels x 100 pixels, 170 pixels x 170 pixels, 170 pixels x 100 pixels. We currently limit the number of ads rotating per position to five (5) to maximize exposure for our advertisers, and our pricing is based on the ad position’s prominence on the page, as well as banner size.

Why advertise with VRB.com?

VRB.com is focused on a unique and growing audience — the readers of vampire romance books — and provides a tailor-made venue for authors, publishers and booksellers to promote books in the vampire romance and other paranormal romance genres.

Our site is professional in appearance and we’re dedicated to providing fresh content on a regular basis. What’s more, we actively promote the site through book giveaways, author interviews, an online reading group opportunity and more, all in an effort to attract visitors to become a part of our online community of vamp romance lovers. These efforts can only be a boon to any VRB.com advertiser.

We are currently averaging more than 300 unique visitors per day, with an average of 2,500 page views per day — and an average of 500 of those pages views coming from the home page alone! That means an advertisement on our home page could potentially have 100 or more impressions per day!

Our rates are based on time. There are no restrictions on impressions or clicks.

Submit Your Own Ad

You’re welcome to submit your own ad, just make sure it’s exactly the size needed for the advertising position you want. Ads of the wrong dimensions will be rejected until you provide the appropriate size. We accept image files only in the following formats: .jpg, .png, .gif. We DO NOT accept animated banners at this time.

Or We Can Design An Ad for You

If you don’t want to create your own banner we’ll be glad to design your banner — using artwork and text you provide — for $35.00 per banner, of any of our three sizes. We will design the ad then provide you with a proof for approval. We will make changes/tweaks one time only to the design at no additional cost. Any additional changes, however, will be charged at an hourly rate.

The Fine Print

We reserve the right to change, at any time, the limit on ads rotating per position, as well as our advertising rates, banner design rates, and any other specifics and details pertaining to advertising on VRB.com

We also reserve the right to reject any ad requests or ad submissions we deem:

visually incongruent with our site
This means ugly ads - VRB.com’s beautiful and we want to keep it that way!
of little to no interest to VRB.com’s unique site audience
In other words, ads for authors, books, publishers and booksellers, or for vendors with products or services of interest to our site’s target audience will take precedence over, for example, an ad for motor oil.
to be offensive, obscene or pornographic
This means material depicting excessive violence, graphic sex and general vulgarity, or what, in our opinion, is in exceptionally poor taste or degrading to any gender, race or religion.
