Divide and ConquerLea thought she was destined for something greater than being a translator when she arrived in Seattle. She was supposed to be making waves as a scientist.  It turns out she is destined for much more. Nieve is a warrior and the Royal Champion.  She and another female are supposed to fulfill a prophecy that will save the Elonian world. Her only problem is convincing Lea she is the chosen one.

Lea is an extremely intelligent young woman, but she seems to lack confidence in herself. She certainly doesn’t believe she is warrior material.  Nieve is a warrior; she has no time for relationships.  Her biggest fear seems to be emotional attachment.  The two women begin to forge a friendship and a bond, and through this you can see both of their characters grow.

Carmen Fox has penned a very interesting debut novel.  Two worlds hang in the balance, Elonia and the human world are threatened by the Shades should the divide between the realms fall. This Urban fantasy has plenty of twists and turns to keep you on the edge of your seat!
