The Sin Eater’s Prince is a paranormal erotica story that takes place in 1842 Whales.  This book was outstanding in everything from characters and setting to the storyline itself.

Diablo pulled me in from page one and held me until the very last page with her dramatic writing.  It was effortless to imagine the time and setting in which the story takes place.  I was able to envision in my mind’s eye every detail of the book.

The story involves Owen Rhys who is a sin eater. It is his duty to consume the sins of the recently departed and take them unto himself.  Due to his responsibility in life he is shunned by most of the village and leads a life of loneliness and isolation.  Andras Maddock is a vampire masquerading as a human physician.  He calls upon Owen when villagers are on their death beds to do what is expected of him. In the beginning the two are unaware that the other harbors feeling toward them.  However it isn’t long before we see a relationship blossom.  These two as well as the other characters in the book are colorful and dramatic.

The storyline is very intense and powerful. You become totally enthralled as the story peaks.  This is a tale of love and devotion and the fight between good and evil. It is full of beauty, pain, and suspense.

Keta Diablo has laid out a phenomenal tale that is truly memorable.  I would not hesitate in picking up her future works.

Owen Rhys, the sin eater of his village in Wales, has been shunned by the local villagers his entire life–except by Andras Maddock, the local physician. In love with the one man he thinks will never return that love, Owen is shocked when Andras saves him from death at the hands of a vampire and admits he cares deeply for Owen. Dagan, son of Traherne, the vampire Andras killed to save Owen, will stop at nothing to avenge his father’s death and obtain the Prince of Wales’s mystic sword from Andras. The divine claymore holds the power to grant immunity from the sun’s harsh rays-the one exemption the dark Lords of the Underworld has sought for centuries. Star-crossed love, sorcery, and bloodlust collide on a vengeful path where only one side can remain victorious. Revenge and redemption Dark versus light Good versus evil The Sin Eater’s Prince
