I stumbled across this website about a month ago … was in desperate need of something new to read and I picked JR Ward’s Black Dagger Brotherhood series. I picked up “Dark Lover” and from the onset I was completely hooked on the BDB. I’ve read all 5 books at least 3 times already and I’m not quite sure how I’m going to last until June 08 for tne next book in the series to come out. But “Lover Unbound” is by far the most heart-wrenching and my most favorite of the series. I haven’t been so emotional over a book in awhile and this one did it for me. Tears were falling!!!
I’m so in love with this series that I’ve been passing my books around to friends and co-workers who are all now hooked too! I would recommend this series to all!

Yes, this book was hot. I really enjoyed the parts with Butch and V, they were warm, sweet, tender, sexy, and very funny; everything a man crush could be. I just love the writing the plots and language are great. JR is a great story teller and I can’t wait to read more books about the brothers. You must start with Dark Lover and read them in order, it is so worth the trip.

This brotherhood series is absolutely positively awesome! I would recommend that you read the books in the order they were published. I love to find a new author that is good and for them to have many published books already. J.R. Ward was my new “find”. The only negative comments are that it really irked me when she killed off a few folks in the series. A few were (I would consider) main characters. Besides this the books are just wonderful. I’m hopelessly addicted to the BDB Brotherhood. LU was a bit different in having several storylines going on at once. That was disappointing to me because I really love V and I wanted more. It seemed the sub-stories were more active this time around. Still, the world created by J.R.Ward just sucks you right in (pun intended) with all levels of emotion and action. I swear I feel like I’m a member of the family, I’m so enthralled with what’s happening w/the brothers and their shellans and the next generation. **One note – if you haven’t read any of the BDB I would not recommend starting w/this one. You need the back story or I think you will be confused**

I bought the series on a whim and read all 5 books in a week. Needless to say I fell in love with the Brotherhood. Lover Unbound, in my opinion, was by far the most heart wrenching to date – I think I cried more for V then I did for Harry Potter. I also say “to date” because I have a gut feeling the story of Tohrment will far exceed Lover Unbound in the sadness department. I’m very anxious to see where the future lies for the brothers and for Tehrror, a surprising and most welcome addition to the family.
