Why do I like vampire romance books? Because it’s good to see them portrayed as a good guy (hero) instead of the stereotypical bad guy.

My favorite genre to read is paranormal. Vampire books and series are my top picks. Some of my favorite authors are Sherrilyn Kenyon, Christine Feehan and Colleen Gleason. Love the way different authors input their take on vampires (they have their own opinion and no two are alike) These all are good authors and would love to win!

My mother introduced me to Vampires and Paranormal Series.I love reading the differences.My favorites are Kim Harrison,Emma Holly,Laurell K Hamilton,And Sherrilyn Kenyon.When she past away last year,I boxed all her books(hundreds)so I will always have those memories

I love to read. These books are my escape from reality. Which I need with 3 teenage kids. I just fell in love with the paranormal romance books more than the other books. Christine Feehan, Maggie Shayne, Sherilyn Kenyon,Laurelle K. Hamilton. They are my all time favs.

I LOVE vampp romances, b/c they have that extra “kick” that contemporary doesn’t. Not to mention, I’ve always been a fan of the pararnormal. I think it’s just far more interesting.

Why do I love vampire romances? Because they show a different perspective then the trational “bad guy” vampires, and they prove to us, that anything is all good or all bad, but a unique balance of both. And more then other books, my imagination gets a real work out, and gets to work outside the box.

With the stress of everyday life, nothing allows you to escape like paranormal romance. The attachment to the characters and the curiosity of how it all unfolds keeps the pages turning one right after the other!

Because vampire romance has more than romance. It has mystery, romance and they really get the imagination going. It’s like a Calgon take me away feeling.

i love vampire romance novels due to the dark and mysteriousness of them. I like to see the different ways vampires are portrayes and i like the darker side of romance. They stretch the imagination which is great, I just love them.

I love these books because it is a step oustide of reality. Since there is no one way to them, it is up to the imagination to make them who they are. These books allow me to get away from life, if only for a few hours. It is hard to really describe why I love them so much, but I just do and I have dozens of them.

I love vampire romance books because, unlike any other romance books, they seem to have this uncanny ability to draw you in to where you’re so engrossed with what you’re reading that you just can’t put it down… until the very last page. I have also always been interested in the idea of immortality and what it would be like. My favorite author of this particular genre would have to be Stephenie Meyer, because her view of vampires and the wording of her books is beautiful.

I don’t just like, I LOVE vampire books. Mostly because they have more of an edge to them. Example - Making out with a vampire, could lead to death. Some books and authors make it all seem worth it, what a wonderful way to go. . .LOL . . They are my escape from a very normal life, and help me keep my sanity when the family and world around me is in bound and determined to get on my last nerve.

I enjoy reading vampire romance novels because they help me escape my boring day to day life. It’s nice to feel like your involved in the books as well as to know your not the only one that enjoys the unusual ideas in life.

I have just gotten back into reading again (I am 47) and have found the vampire stories are really fun and sexy reads. Vampires are mysterious and gorgeous, plus you see how the women work out there feelings for them. I love sinking my teeth into a good vampire love story.

I would love to read these books. I have read so many paranormal romances. They are my favorite. I am even trying to write my own erotic paranormal romance book. I love the idea of 1 lover for eternity. Oh and vampires are so passionate and committed. For the longest time I thought I was the only one. But its nice to see that the paranormal is picking up.

Gosh, when I found this blog, I was so thrilled. I love vampire romances and love to find recommendations cuz I don’t want to miss any! These books sound so good! I smile because the first time I picked up a vampire romance book, I got scared and brought it back and some convinced me to go back and try it. I’m so glad I did. I haven’t looked back since! Would love to be in this contest!

I started with JR Ward’s “Dark Lover” and I was hooked..hooked..hooked. I have read Nina Bangs, Kresley Cole,Erin McCarthy, Kathy Love, all of JR’s and on and on. How can you NOT love hot, sexy, brooding vampire males…MMMM.

The reasons I like vampire romances are kinda complicated. I think the main reason is that the plot lines are more believable than non-supernatural romances - you know, the ones where the girl is always fainting and everyone is crying and it’s just corny as all gi-out? Vampire romances almost never come close to those soap operas on paper. I originally was introduced to vampire romance through my friend’s collection of Chrisine Feehan’s novels, and I almost instantly fell in love with the series, and I’ve searched out other vampire romance novels when my time (and budget) allow it. Another reason that I like vampire romance is because it seems to have just the right mixture of adventure and romance; I can’t even get halfway through a book unless it has semi-decent action in it. Vampire romances are pretty much the only romance novels I can stomach besides ones that are set back in Mideval times, any way, because contemporary romance novels tend to be all thin drama and no actual substance.

I have only been reading vampire romances for a couple of months, and I can’t get enought of them
I have gone through two library’s in my area and clean them out (poor selections) My husband will soon put his foot down on how many I have been buying.
I don’t know where I have been, but now that I’ve found Vampire Romances, I know where I want to be. In a chair, reading….
I always loved tall, dark and handsome guys with long teeth.

I haven’t read a vampire romance in quite some time and those books look like a great way to get back into them. I love stories where the characters are fighting something within themselves and are tortured by the choices they’ve made or are about to make. The choices involving life and death are the ones we as humans have the toughest time dealing with and vampire stories are all about that. And being a night owl I love that the stories take place during my favorite time of the day.

Why do I like vampire romance novels? Because I think vampires are the most sensual beings I’ve ever come across, and mixing them with romance just works. They go together perfectly.

Vampire romance novels are every housewife’s dream… who doesn’t want a gorgeous, virile, young man in every chapter and on every page taking you at any time you desire - especially a man that will never age, never leave you, and never grow love handles. Vampire romances are a way for the maternally exhausted to fulfill a fantasy; to scratch an itch without infidelity and without catching anything worth itching.

Vampire romance novels are so wicked sweet and erotic, and sometimes a bit sexy as well. Plus they’re so much better to read then any old stupid romance book. Most of the old nonparanormal romances just plan suck, true? And besides, what type of girl can’t resist the thought of having a real vamp as a sweetheart, I know I couldn’t resist. Its like candy to me, yum!

I have loved vampire books since I was 8 (I was born in “69, you do the math). So of course when I was old enough to understand romance novels I gravitated towards them. Presently I have over 200 vampire novels and more than half are romances. Would love to add Night Life to the colection. Thanx

Vampire Romance shows powerful men, passionately linked to one woman that completes them I think that is what all women hunger for. To have a magical undeniably sexual magneticism that makes the vampire (man) literally weak to not have them. that is just flat HOT… yeh… I read alot of Sizemore.
