Full Moon Rising by Keri ArthurIf you like ‘em hot, then Full Moon Rising and Kissing Sin, both by Keri Arthur, are just the books for you.

I’ve been reading the vampire romance genre for a while but this is the first I’ve read where the heroine was half-vamp, half-werewolf. It’s an interesting … and potent … combo. The lovely Riley Jenson will take sex just about anyway it, er, comes.

Surrounding all this hot action, is of course, romance, mystery and lots and lots of action of the whoop-ass variety. Keri weaves an intricate tale that puts Riley and her cohorts through their paces, fending off cloned, crossbred, non-human minions — some that fly, even some that reek of death itself — as they try to blow the lid off a conspiracy that may involve employees of the Directorate of Non-Human Races (Riley’s employer), as well as the military and, of course, an underworld cartel staffed by mad scientists. And she’s not done yet!

Kissing Sin by Keri ArthurFull Moon Rising and Kissing Sin are the first two installments in the Riley Jenson series. The third installment, Tempting Evil, is already on shelves, and the fourth, Dangerous Games, hits shelves in March!

These books are true paranormal romance, complete with vampires, werewolves, shapeshifters and more, but they’re not for the faint of heart or squeamish. There’s loads of bloodletting, butt-kicking and, of course, between-the-sheets (euphemistically speaking) action. Riley’s one hot half-were and the fellas are more than happy to oblige!

I throughly enjoyed this series. Each book I got I wasn’t able to put it down until I finished it. Then I had to impatiently wait for the next one to come out the following month. Now I have to wait for October for the 5th one.
